Shanghai Dasu and Zhejiang Dagao under the Daji Group produce high-efficiency motors and super-high-efficiency motors for hydropower generation machinery. They are mainly used in pumped storage power stations. The motors are characterized by bidirectional operation, frequent start and stop, and frequent frequency and phase modulation. We have stricter requirements for the entire motor design, such as: voltage level, temperature rise, insulation level requirements, power factor, stability, transient reactance, sub-transient reactance, operation mode (number of working condition conversions and intervals), phase modulation operation requirements, load frequency control (LFC), starting power; allowable voltage drop, availability requirements, etc. At present, the use of equipment in the hydropower industry has been well received and has broad prospects.
